Great Ormond Street hospital trust is beginning the search for a design team and contractor to deliver phase four of its development plan.
Initial estimates have totalled the 240,000 sq ft project at around £190 million.
A team to deliver the development project will be appointed in May 2017. Site work is scheduled to commence in early 2019, with project completion set for 2022.
The project is to be procured through a design competition, with the main contractor and design teams.
